A love of entertaining family, friends and clients drove many of the design considerations and room configurations. The project included opening up three rooms (kitchen, living and dining room) to create one large open entertainment space.

The clients’ desire for industrial look incorporated stainless steel appliances, large 6 burner Wolfe gas stove, deep commercial style sink and a Sub-Zero fridge. Wenga wood flooring tied in the overall scheme.

An ingenious lighting system creates pools of light over key areas adding mood to functionality, while the entire area has a surround-sound speaker system discretely hidden in the ceiling.

Stone-pebble backsplash gave added dimension to the room and was keeping with other natural materials used. Mountain slate cultured stone used on structural pillar and around fireplace to tie-in the entertaining space.
