With an eye towards maximizing the existing footprint, this bathroom renovation in Vancouver was about re-inventing the master ensuite to create the ultimate retreat and keeping it consistent with previous renovations done in the home. This luxurious spa-style ensuite features a freestanding soaker tub, custom walk-in shower with a rainforest showerhead as well as crystal handles on the cabinets.The colour palate from the floor, to the countertops, to the shower surround encourages an overall sense of calm sophistication. The addition of drapery frames the windows and naturally draws the view into the space.A glass block dividing wall was replaced with a centre entrance from the Master Suite to add convenient access and privacy. Double frosted doors where added to open up the space. We added an entrance to the walk-in closet making it accessible in the ensuite.The skylight allows natural light to flood into the space giving a reflective glow over the marble counters, backsplash and floors. Extensive use of marble tile gives continuity to floor and shower surround.
