CHBA Names Finalists for 2005 National SAM Awards
OTTAWA – December 12, 2005 – The Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) is pleased to announce the finalists for the 2005 National SAM Awards – Presented by American Standard.
The National SAM Awards celebrate excellence in new homes and renovation design, innovative technology and construction techniques, outstanding presentation, and marketing and sales activities across Canada.
Twenty-two National SAM Awards will be presented at the CHBA’s National Conference on February 25, 2006 in Lake Louise, Alberta. CHBA President David Wassmansdorf said that winning a National SAM is a real honour and distinction.
“We have seen tremendous growth in the Competition in recent years and it reflects just how coveted the National SAMs have become for new home builders, renovators and developers,” declared Mr. Wassmansdorf. “The Competition is fierce and the quality of the entries received from across Canada is truly outstanding. The finalists indeed have achieved something to be extremely proud of.”
National SAM Awards are offered in the following categories (number of awards in category): New Home Awards (8), Home Renovation Awards (4), Marketing Awards (6), the Marketing Excellence Award, the Community Development Award, the American Standard Award of Sales Excellence, and the Grand SAM Award. The Grand SAM Award will be presented to the new home builder member who best combined excellence in both the building and marketing of a single project.
